Game of Thrones Ascent App Reviews

This needs an offline mode for people who want to play while on the go. All the developers would need to do is restrict some of the social aspects of the game while in offline mode and you have a 5-star game.

The game concept is fun, its a choose your own adventure text based romp through Westeros which is nice and you can immerse yourself in the story. The devs arent very responsive to fixing issues unfortunately, you actually have to close out the game and reload it for alliance chat to refresh. The Alliance vs Alliance function doesnt work on ios and theres no fix in sight. The game is pretty laggy to, the loading gears will be a constant presence on your screen. The worst thing to me is the rigged mechanics on the tales though. They give rewards based on your ranking at the end of the event, and during the final day when everyone is scrambling for a better ranking, I lose most of my attacks that Im an 80% favorite then I get a message that I can recover the renown lost if I pay real money, pretty slimy.

I usely dont play attention to the storyline in games,but this game I really like the storyline.

Plot development is phenomenal, and if you watch game of thrones youll like the tie ins and progression. The gameplay itself is enough to keep interest, but the user interface needs a bit of an overhaul. Support staff are quick to respond and helpful. 4.5, rounded it up to 5. :)

Love the game play it all the time the only thing bugging me is that when you hit your character and look at his stuff like what God is he for the old and the new are mixed up the old gods are labeled as the new gods if you can fix it please thanks

My whole game restarted after the update and I lost everything I purchased. If someone can assist Im daff325i at the game center

I Play this game on iPad iPhone and desktop. Works well in all environments no problems with anything freezing. Tech-support is spectacular.

As with all things DB, this is well-intentioned but lack of commitment to a better product, or a rush to increase revenue inflows have led to DB releasing a glitch-plagued frustrating as heck platform. I wish theyd work out SOME of the bugs and glitches before they release things, but they make it plain....revenue is much more important than playability.

This is a great app for the game. There are still lots of improvement needed like sorting availability like it browser counterpart in shop, storage and other places. Retraining still missing but Ui is very friendly and some features are faster than the browser which is great. Easy access on the go makes it my go to place for playing GoTA

I love it so much its a great game thanks for making it and I kinda have an idea for a new game likes this one but based on an zombie apocalypse type of deal I would love that game as much as I love this one thanks

Got a new phone and connected to the same Game Center account but it wont retrieve my old account, seems like this feature was even tested to see if it worked.

This game has a good story unlike most of the games in its category on the market, but thats the only good thing. The rest is exactly the same as every other game on the App Store that will require 100s of hours and $1000s to get anywhere. Just stick to watching the show and/or play the amazing board games based on GoT.

This game used to be fun. Ive played it for a year and theyve recently changed the settings and made it very difficult to accomplish anything, especially in the tales of Ice and fire part. Theyve made it so hard you fail 80% of the time, what fun is that? Ive increased the strength of my characters in tales and my success rate has actually gotten worse. Game used to be entertaining, now its a joke. Dont even think about creating a dragon either, Im a year in and and none stop Ive been attempting, no luck.

Well you know when u are excited for a game and u download it and u play it hoping it to get better and it just fails u. Well I have accomplished that this game will ask u to do quests to earn certain parts for upgrades . Tell me this how can u send 25 people to fight these quests that take u at least 1.25 hours numerous times to never get these items . I dont want a refund for a free game I think the developers should pay me for waisting my time and some money back

The game has lost all appeal to me with the new rules for alliance versus alliance competition. The game sold people for years on game building. The stronger you build your character sworn swords and gear. The stronger of a player you would be in competition. But with no rules seeking a quality and avoiding hurt feelings for all new players has decided to make a veteran player with tons of gear and talents and dragons. The same as a play with nothing at the same level in online battles. Taking away any reason to have good gear ss or work on getting talents. And openly ripping off its players. Longer the player. The worse this rip off is. Zero fun at all in competing and any new play can just quickly replace his army with the cheapest sworn swords and they are just as powerful as the dead one and just as powerful as my level 80 peerless geared ones. F$@& y&$@ disrupter beam !!!

Disrupter Beam did a great job gamifying GOT with a new twist on dungeons and dragons. Highly addictive. Its possible to play for free but dont blame me if youre tempted to buy things to craft dragons. :)

ADS ARE NOT "DAILY NEWS"! Absolutely nothing good. A weaksauce GoT skin does not lend itself to a boring press 1 button and go away game. Plus it cheats. Log in everyday for free coins...only it frequently resets back to 1 as if you didnt login everyday , conveniently on Day 7 when it should payout. This is a regular occurrence.

The game it self is easy to understand for the most part. Still has glitches that need to be worked on,i.e. Not all buildings reappear when logging back on to game, also a lag happens when completing tasks,takes awhile to receive experience points. As of right now, only 3 months into the game 3 1/2 stars. Fuzzy
