Another money grabber

Game of thrones uses shameless strategies in order to separate you from your money. For example if you fail on level one of a war why would you pay gold to restart that level instead of exit and restart? Also their number generators are way off. Without boring you with a bunch of math modeling how can I fail a 3 out of 15 quest with more than a 95 percent success rate? Come on game of thrones just be honest and let us play the game as intended.
